Smoking Outdoors vs Smoking Indoors

by Johnny Mixx on January 12, 2009

I was looking over my recent posts and noticed that there were more posts on cars than cigars. What can I say: I’m a guy and like fast cars. But, actually, it’s been cold up here in the northeast. In fact, this week may only get up into the teens. Needless to say, I haven’t had a chance to smoke too many stogies lately. Even going to the local cigar shop is a hassle. Which leads me to my question for you cigar smokers: Where do you prefer to smoke cigars?

Under the comfort of an indoor environment: cigar bar, home, restaurant or local cigar store. Or under a clear blue sky? Personally, nothing beats an outdoor setting: cigar in one hand and a glass of single malt scotch in the other. Add some jazz music to the ambience and I’m in heaven.

Granted, if I’m in a sociable mood, going to a cigar bar does have it’s advantages. But, it’s also going to hit you in the wallet ($$$$) if you know what I mean. Nevertheless, as with making a cigar selection, it all boils down to preference. So, what say you?
