They are bold and beautiful with full bodied aroma made from matured and aged tobaccos. One of the most expensive cigars ever released — the Zino Platinum Crown Series — is the brainchild of the cigar industry’s oddest couple. The cigars, which have just come to market and sell for as much as $39 each, are a result of a joint venture between Davidoff of Geneva and the Arnell Group. The Zinos are physically striking cigars. The shortest, called the Chubby Especial, is a perfecto measuring 5 7/8 inches long with a 61 ring gauge at its fattest point, which is its middle. At $34, it is the mid-priced member of the trio. The cheapest is the line’s sole parejo (or straight-sided cigar). Called the Double Grande, it retails for $29 and measures 7 1/2 inches long by 50 ring. The longest of the group is the Stretch. The 8 1/4-inch, 50 ring cigar has a suggested retail price of $39.
The cigars come packed in oversized metal matchbooks that serve as boxes, complete with a book of wooden matches and a business card with a phone number to reorder smokes from an appointed retailer. The cigars come three to a box, and are not sold as singles, making the buy in for any size a $100 affair once taxes are added. The cigars are emblazoned with large, bold bands, and its makers have designed them to be enjoyed with the priciest of luxury goods. |

Only 90 dealers across the country have the priviledge and honor to carry the Zino Platinum Crown Series Cigars. These cigars have received countless accolades and are incredible cigars.
