Smooth with a robust earthy flavor and medium to full-body, the Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Silver is one of the best selling Torano lines.
Another great cigar from a legendary cigar family, the Toranos have consistently produced some of the world’s finest cigars since 1916. For four generations, the family has established themselves in every major cigar producing country in Central America. Their success is easy to see in the quality and flavor of the cigars they roll. As one of the world’s largest boutique cigar makers, they have been instrumental in the success of the cigar industry.
The Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Silver is the second line extension for the Exodus name. The secret to the blend is in the filler where it uses aged tobaccos that hail from Mexico, Honduras, and Costa Rica. This enticing three-country blend is then complemented with a Cuban seed Criollo wrapper that gives this medium to full-bodied cigar a pleasant citrus cedar and nut finish. Strong ratings and excellent consistency from box to box have made this the best selling cigar made by the Toranos.

The appearance of the cigar screams “Smoke Me”. The brownish Criollo leaf wrapper is inviting – oily to the touch and not too veiny at all. Pleasant pre-light aroma. The cap was firm making the cut very easy. The cigar lit easily and the draw was impeccable. Right away, you notice the Criollo wrapper giving it a very enjoyable medium-full body taste. Abundant white smoke came easily from the perfectly smooth draw.
The silvery/white ash remained firm for 2″ before tapping off. The first third of the cigar left me wanting more of this tasty treat. And it did not dissapoint. The second third picked right off with a very consistent, medium-full flavored taste. It had just the right amount of kick to it without being over-powerful. The burn and draw remained flawless to the very end. The wrapper remained intact throughout with no unraveling. It was a very well constructed cigar.
Smoked the cigar down to the nub. Overall, the Torano Exodus Silver had a very balanced taste of spices and peppers. The aroma was rich and smooth. The ash was silverish and the burn was flawless. No re-lighting was required. This is a cigar definitely worth smoking again and is worthy of being your go-to cigar.
