Don Pepin Garcia Cuban ClassicDon Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic is one of the lesser expensive Don Pepin lines being made at their factory in Esteli Nicaragua. This blend is very spicy and full bodied, reminiscent of a fine Cuban cigar.

Jose “Pepin” Garcia has become a popular name around the cigar community. Pepin is a master cigar roller and blender that started his career at some of the most prestigious factories in Cuba. Today he operates two of the world’s most popular factories in Miami and Nicaragua. Aficionados compare Pepin’s blends with some of the best cigars made in Cuba.

The Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic is an excellent value. This blend is the first blend made by Jose Garcia in his Esteli factory and is also the least expensive. The aroma of the Don Pepin Garcia Black is dry and spicy with a long and pronounced finish. The cigar is full bodied and full flavored with a nice balance and easy draw. If you enjoy a powerful smoke, this one is a must try.

Ready yourself for the strongest blend from ’Don Pepin’ Garcia to date. The Black label is as inviting as it is delicious. Coated with a caramel-colored Corojo wrapper, this eventful blend of Cuban-seed tobaccos hails from the black, fertile soils of Nicaragua. The result is a full-tilt array of flavor swirling throughout your palate with undeniable hints of earth, toasted cedar and black pepper. The aftertaste and aroma are sweet and pleasant, completing an interesting smoking experience that will leave you satisfied every time.

Rated ’92’, the Cuban Classic blend from Don Pepin Garcia, otherwise known as ‘Black’, was named one of the top 25 Cigars in the world back in 2007 by Cigar Insider. And for good reason. This is a kick-ass cigar! You wouldn’t notice it from it’s caramel Corojo wrapper, but the explosion of spices and peppers will knock you off your feet. Definitely a full-bodied cigar that leaves you wanting for more.

The white ash from the Nicaraguan fillers held firm. The burn was perfect. The draw was excellent and produced an abundance of white smoke. There is no flavor change throughout the cigar – just pure goodness. Don Pepin is known for excellently constructed cigars and the Cuban Classic is no different.

A must-have in any humidor for those who crave full-bodied cigars. It is moderately priced but well worth it.
