| Arturo Fuente is one of the most popular cigars in the world and also one of the hardest to come by.
Carlos Fuente Jr. is the fourth generation of his family in the tobacco business and in recent years Fuente cigars have become the most popular cigar made in the Dominican Republic. A combination of experience and some of the best tobacco the country has to offer has put Fuente cigars at the top of the ratings. Arturo Fuente cigars are without a doubt the most demanded cigar and at times they can be very hard to find. The Gran Reserva line is the flagship of the brand coming in a variety of sizes and spanning several popular wrappers. The cedar wrapped line combines a smooth Connecticut wrapper over a Dominican filler and binder making it a mild masterpiece. The Cameroon sizes take advantage of a Central African wrapper that builds a medium body over a Dominican binder and filler. This wrapper has a tangy more flavorful aroma on the palate. In addition to the natural and Cameroon wrappers, Fuente makes their popular cigars in a sweet and dark maduro wrapper that that has a more robust flavor. |

| Arturo Fuente Anejo is one of the world’s rarest cigars. It features a dark maduro wrapper that is aged in cognac barrels.
The Fuente name is no stranger to cigar enthusiasts both at the novice and aficionado levels. For generations, they have been producing the best tobacco and the best cigars in the Dominican Republic. After the hugely successful launch of their coveted Opus X cigar, a new idea was born. This idea was for a cigar that uses the very best Dominican filler and binder, but adds a 5-year-old Connecticut maduro wrapper aged in a cognac barrel. The cigar became known as Fuente Anejo (extra Viejo). Fuente Anejo is a full-bodied Dominican cigar with unique aging process that leaves a very distinct finish on the palate. Typically, only available around Fathers Day and Christmas, this cigar is one of the hardest to find and exclusive cigars in the world. While this line features several different sizes, it is also home to one of the world’s most famous shapes, the No. 77 or shark as it is commonly referred to. It was the first torpedo shaped cigar ever rolled so it progresses from a rounded parejo shape to a square press. This size is particularly rare. |

| The Fuente Don Carlos uses a rare Cameroon wrapper and the choicest Dominican fillers. It is medium to full bodied with a sweet spiciness.
When the Fuentes set out to make their commemorative cigar honoring Carlos Fuente Sr., it was no small task. For a company that has already dominated the cigar industry as one of the most highly demanded cigars in the world, they found themselves in a position where they had to out due themselves. However, when Carlos Fuente stumbled on an aged Cameroon wrapper, he fell in love and this wrapper gave birth to the Fuente Don Carlos, a cigar that is to this day, by his own recognition, the greatest accomplishment of Carlos Fuente Sr. The all star line up of a Cameroon wrapper over a Dominican filler and binder make this cigar what it is. A rich medium to full bodied aroma dominates the palate with a dry medium finish. The cigar is expertly crafted providing for the perfect burn and draw as you smoke it. With ample smoke in each draw the aroma subtly consumes the palate. The reddish Colorado wrapper creates the perfect finishing touches making this cigar as appealing to the eye as it is to the senses. |

| The Hemingway series by Fuente is the most popular all figurado line in the world, boasting a flavorful Cameroon wrapper.
The Hemingway series was the first limited edition extension the Fuentes introduced. The line gets its name from famed novelist Ernest Hemingway and started in three sizes: Classic, Signature, and Short Story. Each cigar in the line is a perfecto shape and has a Dominican filler and binder with a Cameroon wrapper. It is a medium to full-bodied cigar with lots of rich earthy flavors and a pleasant spicy finish. Wood aromas are also detected on the palate as an underlying aroma. While the line in and of itself is one of the rarest and most respected cigars in the world and the production of all the sizes is limited, the Fuentes have special releases for some of the harder to find shapes. Around Father’s Day and Christmas aficionados are lucky if they can track down their favorite Hemingway sizes in the maduro wrapper, which is a slightly sweeter and stronger version of its Cameroon counterpart. The maduros in this line are some of the hardest to find non-Cuban cigars in the world, particularly the Untold Story and the Between The Lines. |

| Perhaps the rarest and highest rated brand in the world, the OpusX has a world-renowned reputation for quality and class. It is full bodied with a rich and robust flavor.
The Fuente OpusX is one of the rarest cigars in the world. It is elusive to almost every smoker because of its limited production. Prior to 1990 the Dominican Republic was well know for its filler and binder tobacco. Growing wrapper tobacco on the island proved impossible due to the topography of the land and the wind. The wrapper is a vital component of any cigar as it contributes to most of the flavor. Carlos Fuente Jr. set out on a mission to be the first cigar maker in the Dominican Republic to successfully grow wrapper tobacco. With the help of cheesecloths to protect the tobacco from the elements, the first successful crop was turned out in 1992. This wrapper is matched with unparalleled vintage tobaccos for its filler and binder and was the first Dominican puro (all Dominican cigar) on the market. The OpusX was an overnight success. It consistently receives the highest ratings from industry publications and continues to be the pinnacle of fine cigars. Almost impossible to find, this cigar is widely considered the “best of the best”. It is full-bodied and the aromas in each size are distinctly different, but the one thing each has in common is the near perfect taste and quality. Nowhere in the world can a finer cigar be found. This cigar is referred to by aficionados as “an expensive addiction” because once this cigar makes its way into your humidor, you will never look at cigars the same way again. |

Arturo Fuente Seleccion d’Oro |

Where to purchase |
||
| Arturo Fuente Seleccion d’Oro features a shade grown Connecticut wrapper similar to that found on the Chateau sizes in the regular line. Available only in select Fuente sizes, these cigars are not always readily available.
As the most popular boutique cigar maker, the Fuentes have a legendary reputation in the cigar industry for making some of the best Dominican cigars available. The Fuente legacy dates back to Cuba at the end of the 19th Century where Arturo Fuente was one of Cuba’s foremost premium cigar makers. In 1912 he set out to make a brand under his own name that is currently overseen by his son Carlos and grandson Carlos Jr. The Seleccion d’Oro is very unique, bringing a mix of wood and nut flavors to the palate with a short and concise finish. The original medium bodied Fuente line uses a robust Cameroon or broadleaf maduro wrapper. The delicate shade grown wrapper used on the Seleccion d’Oro makes for a more mild smoke that is easier on the palate than the regular line. |

| The Fuente Sun Grown is a fuller bodied version of all of the most populr classic Fuente sizes.
With the success of the Gran Reserve line, the Fuentes knew they needed to extend the line with a full-bodied cigar. The solution was an Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper that they added to the already perfectly blended classic binder and filler. The result of adding this rich wrapper was a sharp increase in body and flavor. The response to this blend was greater then even Carlos Fuente could have anticipated, making it one of the most elusive blends made in the Dominican Republic. While this blend was created with some of the most popular Gran Reserve sizes in mind, the Sun Grown line has an exclusive shape, the Cuban Belicoso. Just smelling this cigar before lighting gives a lot of hints as to what is to come. Its strength is all at the nose of the smoke and the finish is pleasant, smooth, and long. The sun grown wrapper is exposed to the elements of sun, wind, and inclement weather. These punishing conditions force the plant and leaf to grow stronger and draw more nutrients from the soil. The result is a more robust and flavorful leaf. Earth tones dominate the palate with this cigar and the smoke is thick and chewy. |
