EO Brands became popular after releasing REO, which paved the way for their quick success. The company works in conjunction with Don Pepin Garcia, who oversees most of their cigar production. With Pepin monitoring EO Brands cigar construction, there is no wonder why their blends are consistent from stick to stick, perfectly assembled, and blended to perfection. Cubao consists of premium, Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos all wrapped by an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. This wrapper is dark with an oily sheen and provides a light hint of spice that lingers in the back of the palate. The combination between the wrapper and filler allow for a complex blend of peat and pepper, masked by flavors of oak and leather, which also maintains an underlying sweetness noticeable in the aftertaste.
