| A full-flavored, full-bodied cigar, G.A.R. is George Rico”s initial blend! The flavors are quite complex providing a rich core of coffee-like nuances, perfectly blended with some peppery undertones.
George Rico is no stranger in the cigar industry. He gained an incredible amount of experience from working with his father, Guillermo, on Gran Habano cigars. His family owns a small factory in Danli, Honduras, where George has helped develop many blends, including the highly rated 3 Siglos series. In an effort to expand his horizons, George A. Rico has released his own line of cigars, G.A.R., which are created using the same standards and methods he employed while working on the Gran Habano line. G.A.R. showcases an oily, Ecuadorian-grown Corojo wrapper, which conceals a hearty blend of Nicaraguan long leaf tobacco. The combination creates a robust experience that remains potent, yet smooth throughout. Espresso flavors engulf the palate as nuances of pepper remain in the aftertaste, creating a complexity that leads to an enjoyably long finish. Earthy nuances are also welcomed as the blend burns perfectly, due to its impeccable construction, from box to box.
