| Graycliff 1666 is the only line of cigars made by Graycliff outside of the Bahamas. Its rich and exotic flavors make it a favorite among Graycliff fans.
Graycliff owner and world renowned sommelier Enrico Garzaroli found himself in the cigar business almost by accident. Having opened the Caribbean’s first 5 star restaurant, which is also home to the world’s second largest private wine collection, Enrico wanted to offer a selection of fine cigars to his guests to complement the fine food and libations offered on the menu. Unsatisfied with even the finest cigars available at the time, Enrico set out to make cigars that would meet his high standards. To do this, he brought on Avelino Lara, the former personal roller to Fidel Castro and the man credited with founding the Cuban Cohiba brand. Avelino led a team of expert rollers to make the first Graycliff line of cigars. Today the brand is more popular than ever with several line extensions. The Graycliff 1666 line was made in honor of the first structure that was built on the site that the resort and restaurant inhabit today, a church that was one of Nassau’s first buildings. Even as you tour the wine cellar, some of the original foundation can be seen beneath the restaurant. To honor such a long history, Grayciff 1666 uses a dark and rich Jaltepec maduro wrapper combined with exotic fillers from Peru, Columbia, Brazil and Mexico. This impressive variety of tobacco gives the 1666 a medium to full body with an extremely complex and unique flavor that is constantly changing over the course of the smoke. Expect nuances including everything from earthy notes to leathery and spicy aromas. |

| The Graycliff Chateau Gran Cru is one of the more recent releases from Graycliff. These full-bodied cigars are meticulously rolled at the prestigious Graycliff restaurant and resort in Nassau.
Graycliff is one of the most exclusive boutique cigar brands the world has ever known. Rolled in Nassau at the Caribbean’s first 5 Star restaurant, each Graycliff cigar is the result of careful aging and expert rollers that are hand selected and trained by Avelino Lara, the founder of the Cuban Cohiba and man in charge of the Laguito factory in Cuba before moving to Nassau. The Graycliff Chateau Gran Cru debuted in 2005 with a rich and robust flavor and full body. The cigar draws most of its flavor from its Costa Rican wrapper that covers a mix of Costa Rican filler. Most of the tobacco that goes into the Chateau Gran Cru comes directly from a farm owned and managed by Graycliff and its owners, the Garzaroli Family. While this stronger blend has a lot of flavor, it is perfectly balanced and never overwhelming to the palate. The Chateau Gran Cru is yet another masterpiece from Graycliff. |
