| First registered in Cuba in 1884, La Flor de Cano is one of the oldest registered marks in the cigar industry.
La Flor de Cano has an interesting history as the brand has been handed down generation to generation in what has been considered a family brand for over 120 years. Produced in Havana on Manrique St., La Flor de Cano has always been a smaller production cigar with a dedicated following of loyal cigar enthusiasts. In 2007 the brand expanded beyond Cuba and is now also made in the Honduras where a blend has been crafted to cater to the US cigar market. Blended with Mexican, Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos, the blend is a smorgasbord of hearty flavors that include earthy and toasty notes. This medium bodied blend also has hints of spice that stem from its Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. |

Located in the Dominican Republic, the La Flor Dominicana brand has received multiple awards for their many line extensions. Not only is he regarded as one of the best cigar producers stemming from the Dominican Republic, but also Litto Gomez is responsible for creating the chisel shaped torpedo, a rare size hardly used by other manufacturers due to its difficult construction. Coronado by La Flor Dominicana was launched in 2006 and sports a hearty, Nicaraguan sun grown wrapper. This leathery, slightly oily leaf conceals a blend of Dominican Sumatra and Piloto Cubano tobaccos supported by a Dominican grown Corojo binder. This incredible mix creates a complexity that emits flavors ranging from earth, coffee, and leathery nuances to spicy hints of pepper, which evolve into a long and pleasant finish. Coronado is the first line of cigars ever produced by La Flor Dominicana and was acknowledged by Cigar Aficionado as the number two cigar of the year in 2006. |
